I was asked to do character design for a pitch in development for a cartoon by Toby Parker Rees, with a cast of young London arts students and a vampire.
Had a great time doing these and hope it gets made one day cause the concept and script is GREAT!

I was asked to design a character for the ‘A Telly Ad You Can Drink’ campaign for Camden Hells . Directed by James Papper for Blinkink, I created a character that was a kind of stylish giantess!
Here are some of the initial designs, as well as the final design and the advert itself.
I was asked by Camp Margate to create a series of icons that could be used on posters and on different social assets.
Camp Margate is a queer community bar that hosts regular events, quizzes, talks, book clubs, parties and MORE.
Thanks to big legend Jess for commissioning me :-)
I did a custom
I was asked by Girls In Film to create an ad that could be used across It’s Nice That across their website to promote their work.
As well as the final square image I created a number of animated banners that incorporated different aspects of filmmaking and film.
Girls In Film is a network that connects and champions the work of women, non binary and trans creatives in the film industry.
I was asked to make a series of animated backgrounds for the Polyester Dollhouse, which is a subscription plan for Polyester Zine’s online content.
I used the Dollhouse concept to create a dollhouse illustration with three separate rooms, each designed to have animated elements and to include video footage too.
I did all the animation in aftereffects myself with a lot of tutorials, and am really pleased with how the final video came out.
I was asked by a group of researchers at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to design and illustrate their study on best practices for working with refugees and IDPs when conducting research.
The document, titled Participation of refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in research: guidance for researchers from researchers , is a 28 page document with over 50 illustrations!
I really enjoyed working on this with the authors, led by Michelle Lokot, and am really pleased with how the final report came out!
I’ve been asked to contribute to the calendar by the excellent Colorama for the last two years now.

I illustrated another series of columns written by Megan Barton-Hanson for Vice.com. They asked for a series of backgrounds that a photo of Megan could be inserted into, and for the second series, I made a comic background that was based on the contents of each article.
Check out the column and illustrations on the Vice website here!
I designed the character ‘Rachel’ for Blind Love on First Date Island, a series of shorts by Blinkink for Channel 4. Narrated by Bimini Bon-Boulash, the series was a surreal comedy dating format where strangers were set up on blind phone dates, recorded and animated.
I loved working on Rachel as I just got to try loads of date outfits until one felt right- included here are some of the rejected options, Rachel’s turnaround as well as a sketch from a version where she was a giantess!
Blind Love On First Date Island was created by Ben Robinson, Mike Whiteside and Oli Beale.Produced by Alex Cartlidge and Leah Draws.
I was asked to make a third new identity for the very excellent Polyester Podcast to be used across all platforms.
Following on from the previous designs I’d done for them, I continued with a checkerboard background but this time used scanned notes and doodles to make a more ‘scrapbook’ aesthetic. The artwork was designed to be versatile and to work in many different colours.
I also created a frame variant to be used for special episodes.
Check out the podcast here!

A big juicy poster I did for Go Fever’s all day SXSW party Roadside Attraction. Sadly this event was cancelled due to coronavirus, but I still love this poster- based on American roadside attractions.
I was asked to create new branding for The Polyester Podcast’s series Sleepover Club. Designed to reflect the previous branding work I had done for the podcast, I used the theme of the modern sleepover to create a larger gridded artwork that could be separated into graphics for each episode.
The podcast can he found on Acast and other podcast networks.
Book cover and design for Oliver Zarandi’s novel Soft Fruit In The Sun, published by Hexus Press. Soft Fruit In The Sun is a collection of short stories that vary from the grotesque to the tender and the uncanny- I did a painting that I hope could demonstrate this and combined it with some juicy handpainted type!
The book can be bought here - I highly recommend it!
Cover artwork for Season Two of the Polyester Podcast, and intersectional feminist fashion and culture podcast that features two interviews each episode.
Alongside the cover artwork I did for the season, I also created a limited edition design for a tote bag to be given out at a live recording of the podcast, which also contained biscuits based on the Polyester GIF stickers I made.
See all the GIFS here, or search for them as Instagram stickers with the search term ‘Polyester’
Gig posters for the promoters Friends Serene.

I was asked to create a tour tee for Speedy Ortiz’s Twerp Verse tour. This was printed as a two colour screenprint on a ringer baseball tee. The image was based on some of the album lyrics- I loved this project!
